I was born in Bexley, Ohio and cultivated in Columbus, Ohio where I earned my degree at the Columbus College of Art and Design. My work has been featured in a variety of locations from the UK to downtown Columbus.
My art is very organic, and I love to experiment with line and form whether it be through animation, illustration or writing. I’ve always been an avid filmgoer, so I am pursuing a career that incorporates my love of animated art. I grew up in a small suburb that revolves around a theater devoted to all genres of movie, especially foreign films. It was there that I fell in love with Hayao Miyazaki’s work, and his messages and stunning art keep inspiring me every day. I am influenced by the work of Mucha, Klimt, Renoir and contemporary illustrators like Greg Manchess, Andrew (Android) Jones and Eric Fortune. As an artist, I have always felt like the best way of communicating to anyone has been through art. Please enjoy my portfolio.
